Power Engineers, LLC was formed by professional engineers with experience in high and medium voltage electric utility systems to serve small and large utilities, colleges and industrial & commercial facilities throughout New England and the eastern United States.

new 13.8kV switchgear to be installed in a 1930's vintage
rehabilitated substation building. Projects included site design,
landscape design, HVAC and almost 2 miles of combined electric,

and electrical design for recently construction Vietnam Veterans
Memorial in Massachusetts. Project included fixture selection,

Technical Studies
 |
Boston, MA - System
assessment of primary 13.8kV and 4.16kV facilities owned by a large
prestigious university. Developed long term recommendation to
replace equipment (including budgetary costs) and maintenance
schedules, based on load flow and short circuit studies
completed. |

Power Factor correction study to determine how to eliminate utility
penalties for a large combined-cycle gas powerplant. Savings on
utilitiy bills paid for engineering study in less than 1

Forensic Investigations
 |
Western MA - Investigation
of fire and failure of 50MVA utility power transformer. Numerous
investigations are performed for national insurance carriers on
small to large electrical equipment, and electrical
accidents. |
